• Job Details:· Clinical Research Coordinator : -Developing Clinical trial protocols and updating existing according to article reviews, scientific papers and latest clinical studies. -Grant writing. -Designing CRFs (Case Report Form) needed for data collection. -Provide training for health team members involved in clinical trial: · Training nurses (lectures, practical: anthropometric measures for patients, data collection , sampling of urine and stool) · Introductory lectures for physicians and pharmacists involved). -Data collection & data entry. -Follow up cases in clinical trials for certain milestones mentioned in protocol. -Reporting (progress, problems, Patient concerns) to study Principle Investigator (PI). -Obtain consent form from Patients participating in study with full appropriate illustration of protocol. (On weekly basis). -Coordinate completion of CRFs. -Follow up (product used in study) shipping reports, bills, storage and full report of withdrawal rate and expired executed amount. · Clinical Research Associate : -Specialty: Data collection & entry for (ALL: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) patients. -Follow-up of ALL patients’ protocols on daily regular basis.(20-30) patients file/Day. -Reporting violation & deviations -if any- to PI(Principle Investigator) & Head of Clinical research department. -Full database update on half annual regular basis. -Data Revision ,data cleaning and assist in biostatics for calculation of survival rate and evaluation of current treatment protocols. -Reporting Quality of Documentation on system and patient paper files on (monthly regular basis). -Provide lectures and training for doctors about valid data entry and hospital system (cerner). -Provide training lectures for nurses after evaluation of knowledge level. Pre and post training course evaluation. -Provide research material for consultants upon requesting. -Attending combined clinic (on weekly basis) for discussion of treatment protocols for rare or complicated cases. -Journal club member: Developing research skills through presentations and discussion of latest scientific papers. -Scientific writing. -Translational research: DNA extraction, Gel electrophoresis. · SMAC* meeting coordinator. (Advisory role for applicant (PHD, Master Degree, Clinical trial, Study), Meeting minutes, Archiving). *(SMAC is the scientific advisory committee of 57357 hospital which is responsible for approving Clinical researches, Basic researches held in the hospital & post graduate study theses).
