• Job Details:As the Social Media Manager for the TAFL Center (Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language) at the University of Alexandria, I have successfully driven the center’s online presence and engagement over the past year. My role involves crafting and executing a strategic content plan to promote our diverse Arabic language programs and cultural immersion experiences, as well as helping TAFL's student be introduced to arabic through the posts. I manage and create engaging posts, including photos, videos, and stories, tailored to highlight the unique aspects of our offerings—ranging from classical Arabic courses to Egyptian cultural tours. I also develop themes to enhance user engagement and maintain a dynamic feed. By leveraging platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, I’ve focused on building a global community of Arabic learners, utilizing targeted hashtags and analyzing performance metrics through Facebook Insights and Instagram Insights to continuously refine our strategy. My efforts have contributed to increasing our follower base, optimizing content relevance, and fostering a vibrant online community. My role also involves staying updated with the latest social media trends, exploring new tools and techniques, and adapting strategies to ensure that TAFL’s presence remains impactful and engaging.
