    • Job Details:Orders from an Egyptian customer to a Foreign supplier. - Receive the purchase from the customer in Egypt. - After checking the Purchase order details carefully with the sales department, I enter the order to our system, - Send the order to the named supplier (exporter). - Follow up the lead time for the order. - Before the order gets ready, I send all the necessary shipping instructions to the supplier to have a smooth clearance in the Egyptian port.(N.B. on regular basis I check with our clearance department if there are any new requirements to the shipping documents) - I receive a copy of the shipping documents from the supplier. - I check the shipping documents carefully and send my comments/approval to the supplier. - After my approval the supplier proceeds with the shipment. - When all the original shipping documents are ready I ask the supplier to send them either to the customer’s end / or to the customer’s bank depending on the agreed payment terms between the supplier and the customer. - N.B when we have the letter of credit (LC) payment terms , it is my job also to revise the LC carefully , send my comments to the foreign supplier, if he agreed with me then I have to ask the customer to amend the needed points. - Orders for our company’s stock from foreign suppliers: - Also, I have to check on regular basis with our stock manager the needed items according to our stock plan. - Place an order for the needed items for our stock at the supplier’s end ( outside Egypt) - Follow up the lead time. - Decide the best mode of shipment for our order. - Get in contact with our forwarder to send me the best freight offer for the named order. - After approving the offer sent form our forwarder, I send him all our shipping instructions. - Also send shipping instructions to the supplier. - Follow up shipping documents. - Revise the shipping documents once received. - After receiving the original shipping at my desk, I forward them to our customs clearance department to proceed with clearance. - Also, I enter all the invoices that should be paid by our company to our supplier to our access system. - I ask our finance department to pay the value of our due invoices when it is due.

    Achievements

    I started in Shehab engineering as a junior and at some time i had to cover other colleagues , after three years of very hard work and a lot of ups & downs and struggles i was promoted as the logistics manager . Now, i am responsible for a team although we are facing problem in the number of employees in my team, as it is less than what it should be , but i am doing my best to handle all the tasks and meet the deadlines. On the personal side, i have a very big achievement, as am currently being trained to swim. Also, i had Finally, i still have a lot if achievements to run after, i believe that hard work and patience is the main gate to goal achievements in your career and personal life too.
