  • Job Details:Expo2020- Thematic Districts Three thematic districts will have a floor area of 222,000 square meters and will serve a total of about 136 buildings. Total contract budget is 2.2 Billion Dhs, consists of cast in-situ concrete structure and precast cladding and steel structure will serve as a commercial and residential space during the Expo exhibition period and legacy mode. Job Role  Conduct inspections and manage all daily construction activities to ensure works are executed as per project's specifications, approved design drawings and MSRA.  Liaising with other disciplines as Architect, MEP and various suppliers in term of inspection, testing, hold points.  Conducting and coordinating all civil works with other disciplinaries Consultants for works such as; blockwork, masonry, floor works, painting works, kitchen, false ceiling, carpentry & joinery, aluminum, metal works, glassworks, Electrical, lighting, power, Plumbing & drainage, Firefighting, Building management system, Audiovisual (CCTV, TV, public announcement, surveillance, access control) and landscaping.  Reviewing, analyzing and issuing site design changes while coordinating with the contractor and the technical office evaluating any for-casted cost and time impact that helped to reduce some activities costs by 20% and a reduction in time by 25-30%.  Review shop drawings and RFI responses and managed to introduce new construction techniques to reduce the construction time.  Full assistance for the project Resident Engineer with relevance to all works executed on site and their relevant documents.  Full coordination with the Dubai Municipality to conduct joint inspections on site and responding to any inquiries related to the inspection.  Lead pre-activity meetings for new activities done on site to discuss and improve its execution on site.  Attend and audit tests on construction materials or constructed elements and ensure that tests frequencies are in compliance with project's specifications.  Updating the project progress schedule while incorporating architecture and PMC amendments and validating the contractor's daily progress report, control schedule and the overall accomplishments of the project milestones.  Raising snag, SOR and NCR, review and approve the corrective actions proposed by the Contractor. In addition to ensuring that corrective action as well as preventive actions are properly implemented on site.  Managed and directed the project completion and handing over, approval for the As-built drawings, inspecting snags and NCRs for de-snagging and close out. Liaising with local authorities for inspection and final approval.

  • Job Details:Job Role  Designing economic and sound statical systems projects coordinated with Architect and other disciplines to achieve zero clashes.  Performing full 3D structural analysis and designing structural elements using finite modeling programs such as  ( ETABS, SAFE, MIDAS, Concise and Prokon ).  Designing of structural elements with conformity to a variety of international codes and project’s regulations and sequence.  Identify Client and Stakeholders requirements and time frame in order to propose the optimum structural portfolio to cope with the given parameters.  Performing value engineering analysis to reach adequate cost and time saving structural system.  Develop concept design, constructions drawings, shop drawings, feasibility studies, structural reports and presentations for the Clients.  Perform full BOQ related to all structural elements to ease quantifying each category of the structural elements.  Preparing detailed structural design calculation packages.  Incorporating and tailoring the structural design of the project to suite different construction methodologies such as (tunnel form, slip form and jumping form) to suite project parameters and progress.  Review shop drawings and ensure its compliance with design requirements, contract specifications and other disciplines scope.  Run Clash detection tests using programs such as Naviswork and Solibri for the BIM models and generate clash reports for each discipline targeting a project output of zero clash status.  Coordinate with the consultant issues regarding shop drawings, RFI’s and RFPA’s for approval.
