    • Job Details:Responsible for all aspects of assigned events from conceptualization to post-event wrap up, assigned meetings and exhibitions throughout the SPE Middle East geographical area which includes Africa (Egypt) and Middle East ( UAE, Kuwait, Saudi, Oman, Qatar). • Plan and execute virtual and in-person events strategy. • Event Committee Management which includes committee formation, attending and facilitating committee meetings and liaising with senior executives, international and regional members and non-members on the technical programme and overall event progress • Evaluate, inspect, and select venues for the Society’s events. Negotiate contracts and work closely with vendors on aspects such as catering, branding, audio‐visual, transportation, signage, and entertainment. • Flexible and smart public speaker, able to talk with senior stakeholders, effective MC during the events, and LinkedIn moderator for live events. • Organizing social and networking opportunities during events • Build and maintain external relationships with key stakeholders within the industry. • Work closely with committees meetings to determine conference themes, topics, session chairs, and speakers to ensure the successful management and smooth delivery of workshop and conference programmes which may include Ministerial Sessions, Opening Ceremony, CEO Plenary Sessions, Executive Panel Sessions, Special Sessions, and Technical Sessions. Also includes speaker solicitations, invitation, and management. • Manage Call for papers process to ensure high level technical conference • Establish and maintain relationships with all committees, key event partners, venues and suppliers. • Leading teams of event professionals, including event assistants, coordinators, marketing, and vendors. • Production of monthly event progress reports. • Prepare and maintain event budgets, with close monthly monitoring and follow up meetings with other teams including accounts, marketing, sales and event assistants. • Developing and executing an Event Marketing Campaign. • Work closely with Sales and committee members to identify potential sponsors and exhibitors. • Ensuring sponsor, exhibitor and delegate payments are processed • Overview of onsite registration management and operations • Attending conferences to network with potential speakers and delegates to establish and maintain relationships pre- and post- conference • Drive standardization of training processes to ensure high quality are in place • Assume responsibility for successful events in terms of financial result and member-satisfaction • Develop the internal training plans and work processes for the team • Work continuously to improve the quality of SPE events through quality assurance • Form workshop /conference committees and maintaining strategic relationships in the region • Generate new ideas, build new relationships, conduct business intelligence, analysis and monitor competition • Develop an annual training calendar and plan. • Schedule, organize and implement training courses (public, in-house or hybrid) under the auspice or as per the recommendation of programme / steering committees. • Conduct training needs assessments (TNA) among National Oil Companies (NOC’s), International Oil Companies (IOC’s) and service companies within the assigned territory. • Initiate regular meetings with key accounts and work closely with their Training and Development Departments to offer courses from the existing inventory. • Coordinate any business and communications between Regional Training Advisory Committee, RTC Subcommittee, GTC, and whenever it is necessary with the office of Regional Director. • Draft Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) or other documents as needed. • Follow up documentation and deadlines related to course approval and licensing. • Create partnerships with industry supporters, stakeholders and other external organizations as necessary. • Monitor courses along Advanced Technology Workshops and persuade opportunities to develop the same into licensed courses. • Plan, organize and execute all logistics related to training courses or committee meetings. • Make on-site arrangements (e.g., registration facilities, accommodation, food and beverages, instructor flights, transportation).
