• Job Details:Telecom Egypt July 2010 → Present Fixed BB Senior Manager • Mange commercial strategies and implementation of customized solutions ,. • Perform validation and commercial announcement of FTTH Network (FDTs/ODBs/Ports/ Households) to Marketing, Sales, Service Delivery (SD), FTTH partners and Assets Management teams for the readiness of FTTH network to ensure smooth handover and service activations • .Identify and realize marketing strategy and Fundamental Planning for Telecom Egypt fixed broadband (FTTx) and solutions architecture of Telecom Fiber/OSP networks . • Define best solutions, planning, design, implementation/ rollout, migration and operation of Access networks and services. • Align technical and commercial requirements in close cooperation with all stakeholders (engineers, designers, suppliers, product managers, etc.) • Create and prioritize (detailed) user stories, including acceptance criteria. • Review delivered user stories and deliver feedback • Stay up to date on market and technical trends within xDSL / FTTx and how they may apply to Te • Responsible for providing OSP solutions for FTTX, including ODN planning, design and implementation programs, etc. • Coordinates the evaluation, design and planning of Deep Fiber Access Networks (OSP/ISP) using best architecture P2P; P2MP for Passive Layer. • Verify Access Network development proposal, sets priorities and schedules projects ensuring compliance to standards, guidelines and procedures, and define best solution • Review and validate the migration plan and Fundamental Planning for Access Networks (OSP /FTTx). • Managing E2E OSP , FTTx ,Active &Passive Networks Projects within Constraints , migration from Legacy networks to BB Through Managing deploying &Operations for FOC,GPON ,ODN ( Feeder Cable , FDT , Distribution Cable , FAT ,Drop Cable , ONT ) for GPON ITU-T G.984 and GEPON , FTTx According Defined Standard and Specs . • Lead the Field Operations of Telecom Egypt’s Optical fiber Infrastructure (OSP {Metro and Long Distance}, FTTx {FTTH, FTTB, FTTM}), • Review the final detailed BoQ, containing breakdown per building of all active hardware, including software licenses, support and maintenance and professional services for the final phase. • Manage sub- contract checklist and Activities and Quality Assurance for Cable laying, OSP/ISP & Cable Management Products, Marking, splicing &testing, power Budget and FTTx PAT procedures. • Develop FTTx projects cost budgets, variance analysis, and change order management, KPIs , Project Performance . • Control quality and quantity of work performed, controlling of project's risk, scope, quality, schedule, communications, and integration plans. • Leverage a strong knowledge of technology trends for the selection of the most cost effective and best practice OSP access network solutions. Lead the design and development of new Broadband products, services and promotions, incl. pricing models, business cases and submissions for approval. • Provide full end-to-end coverage of delivering technical solutions, do swap process of network , Provide network performance analysis sheet, solve congestion problem and manage network dimensioning and orientation. • Provide input to the annual financial plan and budgeting process, and validate actual achievements and performance against targets. To achieve the scope within competence area like cost, quality and time. • Analysis, planning and roll-out management of Fixed Access projects & Conduct Regular meetings with the management. • Manage OSP/FTTx Commissioning ,Operation and Maintenance .
