• Job Details:o Once I receive the purchase order from the procurement department I make the transfer according to the payment terms. o Keep track of the production process with the supplier if the order isn’t on stock and delivery dates. And once the order is ready contact all forwarders to get the best rates by sending them the inquiries and receiving their quotations. o Choose the best rate whether air or ocean freight (LCL or FCL) and contact the forwarder for pick up. o Follow up with both supplier and forwarder to make sure that the pick up is made at the right time and make sure that all docs are issued (original, stamped and signed invoice and packing list – certificate of origin – EURO 1 - ….etc) o Once the goods are loaded I ask them to send me all docs with fast courier to accelerate the customs clearance process. o when the (flight-vessel) arrive I send docs to the bank then customs clearance in case of form 4 if there is no form 4 I send the docs directly to the customs broker to finish the customs clearance process and follow up with him as well. o Track the shipment when it’s done with the customs clearance and ship it to site of the project or tender or to our own warehouse. o Finally, send a packing list to the warehouse keeper to make sure that it’s matching the actual shipment received. o Recently I’m working on CIF and FOB projects with different documentations needed.
