• Job Details:Execute the works as per the design/shop drawings. Monitoring and surveillance on site to control the quality of work being undertaken by the construction team. Ensuring the excavation, compaction and field density test (FDT) prior to lean concrete. Inspection of site work which involves steel reinforcement for foundation, columns, beams, slabs, RCC walls, fire walls for duct bank, cable trenches, concreting construction joints, epoxy paint and finishing works. Review project specifications, procedures, method statements, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan). Inspecting the site conditions prior to the start of construction activities. Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works. Reviewing materials delivered to the site for conformance with approved samples, materials, equipment and report findings. Maintaining the quality of work by visually monitoring the construction activities daily and addressing to the workers for the improvement of the quality of work. Monitoring and documentation of the construction activities, keeping accurate records, participating in daily meetings with the manager concerned. Co-ordinate to various disciplines’ engineers on the site and implement the directions of the client representatives. Ensure any activities not complying with the approved standards and specifications are not executed. Preparation and submission of the daily, weekly and monthly progress reports. Research and evaluation of new technologies and materials for civil engineering projects. Ordering of the materials in the required quantities, and allocation of the resources. Coordination with various trades to avoid repetition of works. Attending weekly meetings and taking actions for the items related to our department. Conduct field surveys and regular inspections to assess existing conditions. Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with safety standards. Inspected installation of precast structures, underground services, concrete and earthworks. Identify potential risks and challenges in the project and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Ensure that all risk management practices are implemented throughout the project life cycle. Ensure that organization policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all stakeholders and employees. Train and mentor site staff on quality control practices and procedures involving construction.
