• Job Details:Analyses and manages risk within the business and advises on how to mitigate them. Creates quality management programmes to ensure compliance to local and international food manufacturing and quality standards. Manages and updates all quality databases and portals. Evaluates adequacy of quality assurance standards and applies corrective measures. Reviews the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems. Plans, conducts and monitors testing and inspection of materials and products to finished product quality. Conducts product validation, ensures that all product specifications are validated through test runs. Prepares and coordinates quality checklists, process development and reviews, generates process reports, and conducts workflow reviews. Establishes all quality documentation for effective quality control and tracking of processes and products. Establishes and documents product specifications and quality attributes of products. Ensures execution of corrective actions identified on product defaults. In liaison with production, establishes standard operating procedures for all production workflow processes. Participates and leads both the internal and external product related audits. Performs routine inspections and quality tests for validation purposes. Identifies and resolves workflow and production issues. Raises HACCP and other regulatory frameworks awareness to staff to ensure compliance. Coordinates HACCP and other food manufacturing regulatory frameworks. Ensures quality consciousness among all employees. Coordinates all quality and food safety audits and follows up audit queries and implementations of recommendations producing periodic reports. Coordinates completion of all production documentation in terms of legibility, accuracy, and applies traceable good records management systems. Coordinates instrument calibration, data analysis, quantification and confirming specifications. Confirms dimension, weights, durability, performance, or operational characteristics utilizing gauges, meters, or chemical assays.

Senior Food Scientist

• Job Details:Grain quality checks management, sorghum and barley malting plant management, procurement of raw materials for beer manufacturing, in process and product quality checks, brewing optimisation processes, test brews and market surveys, training of process attendants, lab technicians and students, ensuring that all laboratory procedures and work instructions are followed and that results are calculated correctly, ensures that procedures are only done by those that have been declared competent to do so, checking of all log books, development of yeast, sour cultures and caramel, service and calibration of laboratory equipment, setting up of management systems and hygiene systems.

Quality Controller

• Job Details:Procurement of raw materials for all dairy products manufacturing, boiler and cooling water analysis, receiving, labelling and analysing raw materials upon receipt, in-process product checks on all dairy products, final product analysis, microbiological analysis of all finished products, report writing, product sensory analysis and grading, ensure adherence to quality standards of milk and other dairy products, ensure/maintain overall quality activities for dairy products as per guidelines, quality assurance plans and SOPs, analyzing quality of competitor products on a continuous basis and developing processes to improve quality of milk and products, ensure that good manufacturing practices and good hygiene practices are followed to ensure hygiene and cleanliness, addressing all quality related complaints and suggest remedial measures, physical and chemical evaluation of raw materials and processed products, control of raw materials, ingredients and packaging supplies, processing parameters, finished products, sanitation and waste products control.
