- Job Details:Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction Preparing proposals and redesign regarding modifications by architecture. Preparing a list of the shop drawings. Prepare and review working shop drawings for projects & its facilities. Quantity Surveying, Preparing & Reviewing takeoff sheets for all project items Cooperate with the construction and engineering teams regarding the construction team deliverables. Review and modify shop drawing submittals for approvals Issue and resolve project document issues/conditions. Conduct the value engineering process throughout the engineering phase. Revising designs, BOQ and specifications. Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, BOQ, etc.). Review sub-contractors’ shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant. Review and issue order to pay for subcontractors’ invoices. Prepare client invoices & variation orders. Interact with the Material Engineer regarding the material submittal and specifications. Undertake team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties. Review & issue letters and deals with consultant & its feedback for claims, variations. Prepare requests information for Weekly progress report. Work coordination with head office, other departments, local consultant, subcontractors & the clients including documentation. Identify project cost and time overrun risk to prepare a recovery plan Preparing & Reviewing Quantity Estimating "pre and post contract Review & Update Projects budget and value for money proof with arranging the payments Maintains the project filling system of all payments, variations and financial claims Quantity estimates for progress payment purposes Gathers all data and documents on site and from other departments for main contract payments, variations and financial part of claims issuing New Variation orders and submit Particulars with technical and Cost Impact Study and collect all related data of the assigned tasks Estimate tasks time schedules Generate shop/design drawings details and/or calculation notes Perform required modifications Checking the structural design and designing the critical elements. Contributing to the development of robust Technical Management Systems for Structural Engineering. Identifying the cost and time of the Structural Engineering design process.
