• Job Details:I am a front runner during Weekly Safety management walkthrough on site. As a front runner, it was my responsibility to lead top management into all areas of the site, identifying residual hazard, unsafe acts and conditions and not neglecting the good observations. This Safety management walkthrough findings were used to evaluate workers performance to project HSE policies and records were kept as evidence of top management support to occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS). • I represent the HSE manager on his absence during HSE and construction coordination meetings • I am part of the client risk assessment team, The subcontractor’s Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) prepared prior start of activity were verified by me to ensure that all risks are identified, all possible control and preventive measures are included before the execution of the task. • On-Site verification of subcontractors Permit to work system, conducting weekly permit to work audit, scaffolding audit, lifting audit and confined space audit to see areas of required improvement. • I strategically manage all communications with subcontractors HSE Officers in regards of safe workplace. • I worked as auditor during internal site and environmental safety audits with outlined auditing criteria. • I ensured that contractors and subcontractors comply with the project HSE policies via reviewing of daily observations and trends of hazard. • I prepared emergency response and rescue plan for high-risk activities and carried out the emergency drill trainings. • Daily Lux measurement reading was taken by me to check night shift work area illumination using lux meter • I coordinate with third part contractor for proper Waste segregation and general waste management. • Promoting good HSE culture among workers through regular HSE campaigns & giving of awards to workers. • I Participate in the Review of Task Risk Assessment (TRA) before the execution of high-risk activities. • Incident investigation, recording, reporting and documentation with lessons learnt to avoid reoccurrence.
