• Job Details:Job details: 1. Identification of all requirements. 2. Maintain the BOQ 3. Determine the suppliers & the method of purchasing (Tender or RFQ) 4.Receiving the price quotations . 5.Study the offers technically, terms & financially to prepare schedule of comparison to get consultant approval . 6. Negotiate the best price & terms. 7.Issue contract or PO. conditions. 8. Tracking and expediting of Shipment/supplies 9. Handle Delivery and inspection of items. 8. Client acceptance/rejection, warranties and other related follow up matters. 9. Keep updated with market developments and assist in Vendor Development. Skills: 1.Experience in an engineering, procurement and operations 2.Very good communication skills 3.Proficiency with personal computers and networking, specifically Microsoft Excel 4.Ability to analyze bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements 5.Knowledge and direct experience in negotiating 6.Ability to identify cost reduction opportunities
