• Job Details: Analyzing the supply chain operations and identify opportunities that will improve the KPIs like OTD (order to delivery).  Plan, develop, organize, manage and evaluate the operations and budget of the company’s supply chain.  Lead and manage purchasing, inventory control, forecasting, warehousing, transportation and other areas are required.  Understand customers’ needs, service those needs, and maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer’s key personnel involved in or directly relevant to supply chain activities.  Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.  Coordinate with vendors and warehouses to determine corrective actions in case of defective or unacceptable goods or services.  Build up a portfolio of approved suppliers and search for new suppliers able to deliver high quality products at competitive prices.  Able to get good rates for all markets from hotels and suppliers.  Gather, analyze and validate data.  Review resulting statistical forecast model.  Prepare relevant material to facilitate research and discussion.  Recommend improvements to Purchasing, Warehousing and Logistics policy and direct the implementation of procedures.  Monitor and report on cost trends for key commodities impacting product categories.  Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy.  Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions.  Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.  Assess, manage and mitigate risks.  Ensure that customers’ orders are co-coordinated with in-store logistics to avoid that stock levels are interfered with for other store customers.  Ensured activities such as sub-contracting orders, transfer posting.
