GCC Regional Asset / Fleet Maintenance ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Saudi Arabia-based Regional Asset Manager directly responsible for managing the company’s 7,000 machinery and vehicle assets located throughout the Middle East region. Responsible for departmental management and analyzing the feasibility of the asset acquisition and managing all Company-owned, leased or subleased equipment and assets for the organization. Developed the budget and implementation plan for the company’s main repair facility and satellite workshops in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Oman and other GCC countries. Provided technological leadership to develop solutions that meet project benefit or cost expectations. Negotiated with suppliers to ensure proper asset specifications and parts were delivered. Made equipment and asset recommended to the board of directors and managed the $100-million-dollar department budget. Assisted procurement with the rental of equipment and assets for all divisions with input from the Purchasing Manager, Fleet Manager, Department Managers, Project Managers and/or the Vice President. Responsible for developing implementation and transition plans to shift the company’s direction from a contractor equipment leasing model to a self-performing maintenance and operations model. Responsible for developing department policies and procedures while ensuring high availability and lower cost. Defining equipment and asset configuration standards and evaluation criteria Oversaw periodic inventories to account for the status and location of all assets and equipment throughout the GCC region while adhering to company policies for equipment use. Coordinated with accounting and operations to ensure proper accounting and costing of leased equipment, tooling and camp is maintained. Developed and implemented maintenance and leasing chargeback and allocation process for all equipment and assets used by projects.

Fleet Maintenance ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Management of the day to day maintenance and fleet operations of the company’s main repair facility in Port Moresby and 12 satellite maintenance shops located within a forty-five-thousand-acre natural gas land lease. Managed the company’s 1750-piece fleet consisting of light vehicles, buses, heavy equipment, dump trucks, drilling assets and power generation. As a practical hands-on leader, I was held directly responsible with the responsibility for establishing the overall fleet operations and drilling equipment maintenance philosophy. Main duties included the development of policies and maintenance standards for the fleet. Responsible for driving the continuous improvement and reliability of the mobile fleet by ensuring planned and breakdown maintenance activities are completed with minimal impact on productivity. Direct and indirect supervision, motivation and mentoring workshop employees including heavy duty technicians, Electricians, welders, hydraulics specialists, machinist and other trade type employees. Formulated weekly maintenance plans in conjunction with construction and drilling activities to ensure all servicing and planned work is carried out as per requirements. Liaise with all types of equipment manufacturers for parts inquiries warranty claims and technical information to ensure that the equipment I managed was maintained to the highest standard and achieved maximum availability. Undertake daily communication (pre – start and post-shift) with the construction and drilling departments to ensure all their fleet needs were met. Worked closely with these departments to assist with solutions to equipment problems, logistics, and training. Managed and oversaw the continued availability of the mobile equipment fleet and the light vehicle fleet.
