• Job Details:Uvest Property Group was the original developer of Sitari Country Estate www.sitari.co.za, a luxury housing development on the outskirts of Somerset West, South Africa. I was a project manager and client liaison. Key accountabilities: • Liaise with new buyers to compile their finishing schedules and customise their property. • Advised new buyers on budget considerations regarding products and materials. • Liaise and coordinate with multiple parties during construction (internal and external stakeholders). • Continuous monitoring of quality to ensure a high standard and that all work was according to issued plans, schedules and within given timelines.. • I facilitated the inspections, quality control and handovers with the new buyers and communicated with the attorneys to make sure the transfers happened timeously. • I completed and signed off on over 300 units at Sitari in 26 months. • Lead and motivated the emergency maintenance team that attended to the after-hours call-outs during the retention period. • I oversaw the post-handover and retention period to ensure that the clients and newly formed Body Corporate were satisfied until the final sign-off. . • Compiled the post construction file with all specifications, warranties and signed off documentation

AArchitectural Technologist and Project ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:JDVA is an architectural practice based in Gardens, Cape Town. We worked predominately on residential ‘new builds’ and renovations but also did some industrial and commercial buildings. I worked full time and later on a freelance basis while studying. Key accountabilities: • Transferring architectural concept designs and sketches to digital plans. • Municipal and heritage submissions and managing the approval process. • Ensure that plans adhere to the national building regulation and the relevant zoning schemes. • Working with the principal architect in the drafting of working drawings, details and tender documentation. • Working with clients to compile and collate the finishing and other schedules and relay the information to site. • Conducting site visits to check the contractor stays on time and that the work is as per the approved plans and schedules.

Founder and ManagerFull Time

• Job Details:Lemmer & Co conceptualised and manufactured custom-built homeware, props and retail display items for the advertising, film and retail industries. I secured key clients such as Woolworths, Red Bull, Cape Union Mart and various architects. Key accountabilities: • Seeking clients and securing meetings, managing the quoting process and presenting product portfolios to win business. • Managing and developing client relationships to maximise referrals and repeat business opportunities. • Lead and motivate the team to deliver a quality product on time. • Planning and managing the design and manufacturing process, including budget preparations, resource planning and procurement, defining the project scope and timelines, managing project teams and evaluating progress. • Manage project timelines, schedules, resources, and project budget. • Working irregular hours under immense pressure to meet tight deadlines.
