Spatial Analysis and Site Selection: GIS enables planners to conduct spatial analysis to identify suitable corridors or routes for the Right of Way based on factors such as land use, environmental sensitivity, terrain conditions, and proximity to existing infrastructure. Land Parcel Management: GIS helps in managing and maintaining a database of land parcels affected by the Right of Way, including ownership information, easements, and legal boundaries. This facilitates efficient land acquisition processes and minimizes disputes. 2. Route Optimization: GIS-based routing algorithms can optimize the alignment of the Right of Way to minimize land acquisition costs, environmental disruption, and construction challenges.
