• Job Details:•Develop and optimize cement slurry formulations suitable for specific well conditions. •perform equipment calibration and maintenance. •mentor junior lab staff in conducting tests and interpreting results. •Conduct the inventory of lab supplies, reagents, and raw materials. •Analyze and interpret data from lab experiments, providing detailed reports to support the cementing engineers in decision-making. •Adhere to Halliburton HSE guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment. •Communicate the JSA of laboratory activities and implement necessary safety protocols. •Collaborate with cementing engineers to maintain the tender requirements. •Conduct free fluid, static fluid loss, and stirring fluid loss tests to assess cement slurry properties. •Conduct comprehensive testing of cement slurry, including: -Thickening Time Test: To determine the setting time of the cement slurry. -UCA Compressive Strength: To assess the compressive strength under the well conditions. -Crush Compressive Strength: To evaluate the compressive strength of the cement under crushing. -Rheology: To study the flow and deformation characteristics of the cement slurry. -Compatibility Rheology: To assess the compatibility of Mud and Spacer with the cement slurry. -Static Gel Strength Test: To assess the gel strength of the cement slurry. -Expansion Ring Test: To evaluate the expansion characteristics of the cement during curing. -Sedimentation Test: To study the settling behavior of solid particles in the cement slurry. -Wettability: Assess the wettability of cement surfaces to ensure proper adhesion to wellbore wall. -Pressurized Balance: to estimate the specific gravity of the Cement slurry. -Spacer Preparation: Prepare and test spacer fluids effectiveness to clean the oil base mud.

• Job Details:•Collect samples of used mineral oil from various sources. •Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and storage of collected samples. •Prepare samples for analysis, including qualitative and quantitative tests. •Perform qualitative tests such as Drop Test, Lux Test, Water Content, Color Test, Specific Gravity, and Viscosity of waste oil before recycling process. •Control the quality of recycled products, including "Lube Oil: SN70, SN150, SN500," and side-products "Bitumen" and "Diesel." •Conduct quality control experiments on the recycled products such as: Dynamic and Kinematic Viscosity, Simple and vacuum Distillation, Flash Point, Pour Point, Specific Gravity, Density, Ash Content, Acid Value, Appearance & Color Test, and Asphaltenes Test. •Test the quality of the Thermal oil "Thermaflo 600" used in the production unit to ensure the thermal oil meets required specifications for optimal performance. •Perform quantitative analysis for the used chilled water in the production unit to determine the amount of the following: Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Free Chlorine, Iron, and Phosphate in the chilled water. •Implement measures to optimize water quality and minimize environmental impact. •Present findings to management, recommending adjustments to processes to improve products’ quality. •Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards in all testing procedures. •Assist in the preparation of documentation required for regulatory compliance.
