• Job Details:• Plans, organizes and performs virological procedures for virus disease research to meet the research goals of the program. • Develops of new assays, maintains and reviews files of standard operating procedures of various laboratory activities. • Works with biologically hazardous materials applying safety precautions. • Records and interprets results of performed tests, analyses data, and prepares written progress reports. • Prepares documentation and supporting material for meetings, presentations, and regional training workshops conducted for scientists. • Assembles data and conducts literature search for manuscript writing of significant scientific findings. • Writes and submits grant proposals for various funding agencies. • Prepares and goes on field trips. Performs test procedures under strenuous conditions.
