• Job Details:JOB TITLE: STORES SUPERVISOR COMPANY: SWEDISH MACHINERY AND TRUCK GHANA LIMITED . The leading suppliers of all kinds of construction equipment such as Volvo ADTs, SDLG,TRUCK and PENTA, VOLVO LOADERS, GRADAERS and EXCAVATORS. RESPONSIBILITIES • Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures. • Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements. • Meets warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions. • Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments. • Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items. • Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements. • Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data. • Secures warehouse by turning alarms on; testing systems. • Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. • Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed. • Solving inventory and cycling count by either adjustment or transfer of parts from different locations • Ability to interpreted and understand schematic diagrams of various parts in the warehouse and catalogue electronically • Good communication skills between supplier or customers • Technical and purchasing e knowledge on all the product /parts at the warehouse due to Mechanical Background • Tagging or labeling of all parts at the warehouse for easy identification • Operating of forklift and other warehouse equipment. • Have valid Ghanaian Driving license • Good record keeping of all books in the warehouse(waybill, GR Books, Receipt Books etc)

STOCK CONTROLLERFull Time

• Job Details:• To exercise general control over all activities in stores Department. • To initiate Purchase Requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level approaches minimum. • To issue materials at the required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material skills Receiving of shipment and placing them at the correct locations • Counting of stock daily at randomly by knowing the physical quantity to check for the discrepancies. • Good record keeping of tracking every item moving in and out to curb problems associated during cycle count by the use of bin card. • Team Player and always seeks approval from head of departments • Arrangement of items on the shelves with Tags and part numbers for easy identification • Supervision of monthly stock taking that’s cycle count • Training various sectional supervisors and other subordinates about the skilled and understanding the process, safety and efficient operations of the warehouse. • Good knowledge of ERP and SAP • To check book balances with the actual physical stock at the frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage etc. • Proper Housekeeping thereby enhancing safety at the stores environment.
