• Job Details:1. June 2007 till present, Azimut Egypt Asset Management Fund Accounting manager - Finance and Operation Dep.: • Handle all middle and back office functions for discretionary portfolios and mutual funds. • Handle all settlement and back office functions for the biggest sovereign wealth fund worldwide (Norges Bank). The requirements of the client are extensive and precise, which has a great influence on my experience in the field of operations. All transactions and settlement are done through JP Morgan & Citibank online custodian platform, which is the state of art in the field. • Twelve years’ experience working on asset management suite program (portfolio and fund) from Tea Computers company. • I responsible for calculation the daily net asset value for all funds, responsible for preparing financial statements, handling with external auditors and handling with service fund company "the fund administrator". • Verification of deal details with broker note and counter party confirmation. • Settlement of all Money Market & Government Securities deals. • Filing of deal tickets along with their confirmations. • Daily Settlement of stocks for portfolios and mutual funds. • Monitoring and ensuring daily reconciliations for clients’ accounts in the banks. • Periodical reconciliation of clients’ financial position. • Daily calculation of Net Asset Value of portfolios and mutual funds (Issuance daily price). • Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly financial progress reports of clients. • Ensures the accuracy and integrity of the data contained in the accounting records. • Preparation of portfolio & fund financial reports. • Preparation and registration of tax returns for investment funds on the website of the Egyptian Tax Authority
