• Job Details:SAP BusinessObjects Spend Performance Management (BO SPM) is an analytical application that can help Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) identify potential savings on goods and services, letting you gain visibility into the overall spend data. The project focus is to build strategic capabilities on top of SEC’s existing tactical and transactional capabilities to help to unlock supply chain values. While traditionally procurement activities focus is on purchase price reduction, Strategic Sourcing aims at total cost reduction. SAP BO SPM will help SEC to quickly identify how much is spent with whom and on what. With this information, SEC can identify cost savings opportunities, rationalize suppliers, spend analysis, monitor compliance, track progress towards meeting goals, and manage their overall spend performance. Responsibilities:  Working as a SAP BI/BW BO SPM Solution Architect for Strategic Sourcing department of Saudi Electricity Company’s Supply Chain Transformation Project.  Responsible for SAP BI/BW BO SPM Architecture, designing the solution, build, quality assurance, regression testing and sucessful Go-Live.  Involved in complete Software Development Full life cycle SPM implementation – Requirement Gathering, Blue Print, Realization, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, Go-Live & Production Support.  Leading a team comprising of SAP BW, SAP SPM and SAP Basis as team members.  Design the UML documentation for Blueprint, and functional design documents.  Completely involved in the SAP Basis – SPM installation and configuration activities.  Installed and configured SPM ECC Extractor Starter kit.  Installed and Activated SAP BW business content related to SPM.  Customized SPM sourcing category hierarchy to adhere to Strategic Sourcing business requirement.  Installed and activated standard SPM Extractors, SPM Data flows, SPM reports.  Worked on all the SPM Advanced features like Spend Advisor, WhatIf Analysis, Waterfall Model, Supplier risk analysis etc.  Customized SPM Reports/Dashboards content based on functional requirements.  Used SAP Solution Manager (SOLMAN) to upload the documents for client approvals.  Provided training to business users explaining the SPM functionalities to analyze and reduce the spend.  Involved in project management activities for onsite offshore model.
