• Job Details:• Analyze cost structures associated with imported shipments to ensure accurate expense allocation and cost optimization. • Monitor import-related expenses such as tariffs, duties, freight charges, and customs fees. • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to streamline import processes and minimize costs. • Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. • Maintain accurate records of import-related transactions and expenses for financial reporting purposes. • Prepare reports and presentations on import-related costs and trends for management review. • Develop and implement inventory accounting systems to monitor stock levels, valuation, and turnover. EXPERIENCE INVOLVEMENT • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records. • Analyze inventory turnover rates and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory for disposition. • Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstock situations. • Evaluate inventory costing methods such as FIFO, LIFO, and weighted average to determine their impact on financial statements. • Prepare inventory-related financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and cost of goods sold analysis. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse layouts, inventory storage, and distribution processes.
