    • Job Details:Police Officer 1 (SCA DOL Category: 27131) on a contract with Paragon Systems Inc providing law enforcement/armed security services to an undisclosed government client's guard force in partnership with U.S Marshall Service; dubbed CIFSO or Critical Infrastructure Facility Security Officer. Duties included interaction with employees and visitors on a daily basis, and access control of vehicle and pedestrian traffic into a highly sensitive and secure undisclosed government installation. I was responsible for maintaining a high level of situational awareness, and maintaining constant surveillance of the site through means of monitoring CCTV, vehicle and foot patrols. I maintained order and safety while providing customer service and information to facility visitors. I also investigated and reported incidents that were out of place or of significance to protect government assets. I also evaluated credentials of personnel and provided temporary badges to visitors. I monitored building and property entrances and exits to detect intrusions or unauthorized access. I administered basic first aid for minor situations and contacted emergency medical personnel for medical emergencies beyond my level of training. I explained security protocols to employees and guests to promote readiness for emergency situations. I acted as a visual deterrent for criminal activity, and general misconduct by maintaining a high level of visibility.
