As an Export Sales Manager Reporting to the SBU Director, my challenge is to manage the company resources to achieve agreed sales targets in the B2B market through our distribution channels, Sole agencies & Distributors overseas, Responsible for all sales activities, Manage the quality and consistency of product and service delivery to the key accounts in Local market, MENA, Africa and Gulf markets.

Primary responsibilities
• Prepare annual Sales & Marketing plan for the assigned region to fulfill the overall Sales Targets and other Balance Score card Parameters.
• Prepare a variety of status reports & presentations including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to objectives.
• Coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth flow of technical information and updates to our customer data base.
• Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
• Locate, evaluate and assign effective distribution channels in order to support sales team in current & markets.
• Develop selling & pricing strategies customized based on the different markets targets.
• Follow up & build strong relation with the key accounts.
• Managing logistics & freight forwarders.
• Identify potential markets & the prospected customers in different markets.
• Identifying new markets: Geographic markets and new segments and developing strategies to develop business.
• Managing New Products development and Launching process to improve existing products, services and increasing profitability.
• Studying Market Trend, competitors' products and services and report that to SBU Director.
• Developing, updating and managing the production of all marketing and POS materials.
• Conducting market research and customer profiling to identify and capitalize on unmet market needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Selected Achievements:

• Continuously achieve the settled/agreed sales target for the assigned region with annual growth 7-10% in a very competitive B2B market.
• Increased the size of business 20% in Gulf region after visiting and analyzing these markets & hired new distribution channels beside the authorized agents there.
• Develop data base including the prospected customers (Chandeliers manufacturers, Importers & Exporters data in 25 countries), used to enforce our business in these markets and could be used as a backup plan(s) if needed.
• Added new accounts as a part of business-development activities, including a 0.4 M$ in Morocco with the biggest chandelier producer in Casablanca and 0.5 M$ in South Africa by evaluating, assigning and training a new Distributer.
• Develop new contracting system & new pricing policies customized based on the company strategic targets in the different markets.
• I presented my company in more than 6 international events (Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Milano Casablanca and Kenya); I managed and participated in more than 11 seminars and summit targeting projects market in MENA region.
• Developing and managing production of Marketing and POS materials to target each segment efficiently includes product’s catalogs, Brochures, flyers, sample kit, we make sure to update its content and designs for 4 consecutive years that enhanced the sales reps’ and customer’s understanding of complex product features
• Developing a new strategy to improve sales and performance in KSA market by evaluating new distribution channels and conducting a market research to get a complete customer’s profile to enable us to manage performance of current agent/assigning new distributers.

As an Export Section Head reporting to the Export Sales & Marketing manager, my challenge was to introduce the company’s products and capabilities to the market and achieve growing sales figures by targeting B2B market for packaging factories in Egypt and MENA regions.
Also a business development task was assigned to me to open new markets in North of Africa region to utilize the production capacity of our production lines.

• Developing and managing production of Marketing materials includes product’s Technical Data sheet TDS, Material Safety Data Sheets MSDS, Brochures, flyers, sample kit, we make sure to update its technical content for 6 consecutive years complying with the internal document control rules and EU standards in TDS, MSDS.
• Developed and managed a product development process that led to develop more than 40 features in our products.
• Develop, update and implement a written process for all Sales & Marketing functions complies with ISO 9001 quality systems includes Document control on marketing materials, Product Development Process, Customer complains, pricing and offers….etc.
• Added new accounts as a part of business-development activities in Morocco, Tunisia, Sudan and Kenya through market research and market visits.
• Through 6 years in Zahra Chemicals I participated in transferring company from a new established factory to the main player in Egypt and North of Africa region (4000 ton/year) through direct contact with customers, updating products and services and effective communication with my technical team, sales team and customers.
