• Job Details:Directed and supervised the day-to-day operations of marine vessels, including pilot boats and tugs, ensuring they were fully operational and well maintained. Identifies, organizes, and works with leadership from all constituencies of the organization to initiate and lead the information management planning process, to include the development of goals, timetables, desired outcomes, and evaluative methods. Coordinate vessel movements, pilotage, towing and mooring to optimize port operations, management and organization of the VTS system. Ensure both port & terminal health and safety rules are followed at all times including any client specific procedures for reporting any QHSSE matters. Maintain and operate navigation aids such as buoys, lights and signals to guide vessels. Ensuring uninterrupted and trouble-free operation, serviceability of transshipment and technical, as well as motor transport of the terminal. Works with "Railways": tracking the approach of wagons, redirecting wagons, monitoring the delivery of wagons, handling wagons (loading / unloading etc). Provision of all processes of unloading /loading of vessels in the port with preliminary preparation of all necessary calculations. To assign scheduled jobs to groups and follow up for completion, to write reports and maintain records. At the very beginning: I delivered construction management services on a major port project "Bronka" at St. Petersburg Sea port. This project includes construction of new terminal buildings, construction of berths, repair and renovation of existing berths, levellings and ground improvement, pavements, ducts and pits for buried services, revetments, quay deck and yard pavement repair, buildings renovation, different equipment as: compressor, boiler, refrigeration, pumping equipment, electric distribution, etc., including internal roads, driveways and storm drain systems, terminal infrastructure etc. I provided oversight of the construction supervision of the projects to ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on site, and that the requirements of the construction contract are followed. Development and implementation of measures for the effective use of the complex, increasing labor productivity and reducing company costs, the introduction of decarburization methods. Management of the commercial and financial division of the terminal. Providing management accounting for the movement of terminal property. As a Senior Manager Project/Regional Operations Manager I leaded a supervision team tasked with monitoring and supervising the contractor’s daily activities, monitoring and reporting on progress, quality and safety commensurate with requirements of the Contract.
