Construction ManagerFreelance / Project

• Job Details:Responsible for overseeing the on-site construction of Utility-scale solar projects throughout the construction phase from Notice-to-Proceed (“NTP”) to Commercial Operation Date (“COD”). • On-site representative and is the main point-of-contact for all subcontractors, consultants and third parties on the project site. • Monitoring project performance and ensuring that the project is completed according to the agreed upon schedule and within budget guidelines • Managing all aspects of the project, such as selecting contractors, obtaining permits, and ensuring compliance with regulations. • Oversee the execution of the construction work on-site, to ensure contractors are holding to their contractual obligations specifically in terms of safety, quality, schedule and budget. • Scheduling work crews, ordering materials, and tracking progress on a daily basis • Managing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients throughout the life of the project • Working with clients to determine their needs, designing custom solutions, and estimating costs • Support the PM with scheduling and coordinating the project Commissioning and Close-Out activities, with support from the EPC partner.
