• Job Details: Attending daily morning safety meetings, pre-job safety meetings, pre-tour safety meetings, and weekly safety meetings with senior staff and crew to discuss operations and associated hazards.  Ensure permit to work system implementation for non-routine operations and tasks, discuss risk assessment, and perform a pre-job safety meeting before initiating work.  Perform periodic (weekly and monthly) inspections on safety equipment and all tools to ensure the validity of inspection certifications.  Conduct a safety induction for new staff and visitors.  Developing an emergency response plan and evaluating periodic emergency drills.  Follow up on the validity of inspection certification for rig equipment and lifting gear (color code).  Prepare rig move documentation and supervise rig move plans.  Ensure the stop card tracker system is implemented and follow-up corrective actions are undertaken.  Ensure approval of the critical lifting plan and supervision of its implementation in the working area.  Conduct safety training for staff to raise the safety culture and level of competency of newly hired.  Conducting the required incident investigation for all reported incidents, gathering the physical evidence, discussing with the assigned team the appropriate root cause analysis, and providing effective lesson-learned communication.  Conduct visual inspections and ensure inspection certifications are valid for trucks, cranes, forklifts, etc.
