Foreign Purchase Specialist Full Time

• Job Details:1- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to get competitive prices and payment terms. 2- Prepare and update the raw material import plan according to the factory's production plan. 3- Scheduling the dates to open new L/Cs and to place new purchase orders of the raw materials during each month based on the raw materials import plan. 4- Working on reducing the cost of goods purchased by sourcing new reliable suppliers and reducing the logistics cost to minimum level. 5- Communicate with foreign suppliers to get required documents for clearance and shipping. 6- Preparation of the customs duties cheques based on the estimated calculation. 7- Preparation of all the documents necessary to open the LC and submit them to the bank. 8- Liaise with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders to coordinate the shipping of raw materials after the LC is opened and provide solutions to any possible delivery problems at the lowest cost. 9- Process Air/Marine insurance for the imported shipments if needed according to the agreed delivery terms. 10- Manage the transportation and documentation process of the imported shipments. 11- Preparation of all the documents necessary for clearing the shipments after the arrival to the port of destination. 12- Follow up with the customs brokers the clearness and delivery of raw materials to the factory. 13- Undertake the import of spare parts and other necessary equipment to the factory by air or sea according to the requirements of maintenance department.
