- Job Details:Manage and strategize spare parts inventory. Categorize over 60,000 items and update the ERP system monthly with data such as criticality, ABC classification, XYZ analysis, value, lead time, minimum and maximum levels, reorder points, and annual consumption. Handle demand planning for consumable SKUs, including food, water, hygiene products, PPEs, and tools, while overseeing their supply. Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for raw materials across two factories within the mine, managed through the ERP system (Mainpac). Foster strong and strategic relationships with suppliers in collaboration with the procurement team. Develop supply plans for both minor and major construction projects. Determine and plan the MOT (Mode of Transport) for the logistics team based on budget constraints and SKU criticality, considering global material imports. Strategically plan for bulky and high-value items. Conduct reporting and analysis to address slow-moving and obsolete stock, seeking innovative solutions to prevent, reduce, or eliminate these issues. Stay engaged in sourcing activities for new items and adapt supply plans for special contracting arrangements like consignment and fixed prices. Prepare inventory master data for the SAP system, aiming for a go-live date in October 2023. Lead improvement projects in collaboration with various departments to reduce inventory levels and enhance inventory availability.
