• Job Details:Prepare experiment material and lab settings for several lab courses Support continuous upgrade of experiments by using the latest scientific methods and techniques after consulting with peers, teaching assistants, and professors Cooperate with peers and Lab assistants in different lab courses Assist in the planning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of any problems that may arise in the equipment Contribute to developing lab equipment and chemicals’ database and a system for checking on the inventories (supplier, catalogs, maintenance procedures, calibration, SOPs, etc.) Carries out risk assessments as appropriate, and ensures all lab-based teaching activities are carried out in accordance with the biomedical sciences lab safety regulations Maintain operation logger, including organization of worksheets, filing, hazard data, legal records, and risk assessments Develop new systems in the laboratories and preparation rooms to improve the technical support service Disposal of laboratory wastes including sharps, chemicals, and biological wastes, in accordance with the safety requirements Liaise with team members of other educational laboratories Flexible with other duties as requested by the supervisors
