Identify control weaknesses, loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost-saving suggestions thereby adding value to the company’s overall business objectives Provide guidance, training and an environment that supports the growth and development of other audit staff Performs audit work, including plan preparation, work papers, finding, and associated reports; verifies the accuracy of records as they pertain to related transactions. Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals. Collating, checking and analyzing spreadsheet data Gauging levels of risk within organizations Ensuring that assets are safeguarded Identifying if and where processes are not working as they should and Advising on changes to be made Liaising with managerial staff and presenting findings and recommendations Ensuring procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with. Carries out audits in accordance with the established audit program and through this process will make an assessment of the degree of conformance to plan and seek to evaluate the risks to the company’s resources.
