Laser Operator

• Job Details:Operated the following lasers: Trumpf CO2 3030, and Trumpf Fiber 2030. Accurately produced child parts while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Eliminated costly errors between engineering and quality department by catching mistakes and errors. Measured dimensions of finished child parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. Listened to machines during operation to detect sounds such as the focus being off, welding of material and adjusted machines to compensate for problems. Adjusted machine feed and speed, or adjusted machine controls when automatic programming is faulty or if machines malfunction. Lifted work pieces to machines manually or with a hoist. Responsible for minor maintenance and repairs on lasers.
