Responsibilities I handled as Office Manager included:

* Handling petty-cash for the CEO's office and coordinating it with Finance Department.
* Calling for meetings with outside individuals and receiving guests, including preparation of the meeting area with materials or audio-visual aids as needed.
* Preparing and giving presentations as requested by the CEO.
* Yearly evaluation of employees under my authority as per HR guidelines.
* Taking part in any projects or committees as requested by the CEO.


All above responsibilities required full knowledge of MS Office, diplomacy in dealing with fellow employees as well as outside individuals, extreme confidentiality and taking prompt, decisive action when needed.

In addition to my work in CEO's office I was also requested to aid other departments in their work, namely:

 I was involved in the screening and selection of potential IMAX films, then later translation and Arabic dubbing of the selected films to be shown at TSCK.
 Review of translation and editing of texts for travelling exhibits which are rotated every 6 months at the Discovery Place.
