Through the use of data analysis and a systematic process of root cause and corrective action, instill a culture of continuous improvement across the Procurement organization. Key Responsibilities: • Management of the daily Procurement team activities; ensure SAP order queue is appropriately balanced across the buyers; oversee the output quality of Procurement team including adherence to our global PO Policy. • Establish strong working relationships with all business partners, including AP(account payable , Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Clinical and other business stakeholders across all sites to drive change and adherence to applicable policies and processes. Specific focus on relationship-building with AP/Finance to drive closer collaboration and integration of the groups in management of the Procure-to-Pay process. • Collaborate with a cross functional team to develop and track metrics that will measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the cycle and identify non-compliance and training opportunities within the business. • Support the Supplier Enablement process to ensure all suppliers understand company's practices and requirements related to delivery of goods and/or services. • Establish annual performance targets for the team to drive continuous improvement; foster the development of a data driven culture across the Procurement group in which action plans drive improvement based on thorough root cause analyses, clear implementation dates, and the identification of responsible owners for each action. Present key findings and accomplishments to Senior management and key stakeholders. • Perform monthly - compliance reports and immediately escalate issues to Manager; support audit requirements, when necessary. • Review and approve POs per our PO Policy compliance requirements. • Support Procurement training to all new employees. • Support Quarterly Business Reviews with key strategic suppliers by providing data and feedback to the Strategic Sourcing organization when requested. • Serve as SAP ‘owner’ for Procurement by approving access requests, system changes, or upgrades. Work with Global Information Systems group to monitor the development and implementation of desired SAP enhancements. • Work with HR on a semi-annual basis for the recruitment of co-op students to support Procurement. Most achievement • total cost saving around 16% per year • Fix prices and keep same discount for some equipment. • Adding new suppliers for both local and foreign purchasing • SAP implementation :- completed all backlog orders and proceed all new procedures via SAP • Fast movement for the purchasing cycle based on cash facilities • Getting credit facilities form some suppliers such as :- • 25% advance 25% upon delivery and 50% cheque 60 days • 90 days for the regular purchased items • 60 days for some new suppliers • 120 days for most major items • Problem solving.
