I've managed to establish a new marketing arm for PETRONAS in Egypt for the Lubricants business and successfully introducing the new products to this challenging market around Egypt. Also I was able to identify potential regional partners in North African region (Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Mauritania)
On the Commercial side, and as a millstone in my career life, I've successfully participated in the negotiation of amending one of the most critical contracts after the revolution for the Ministry of Petroleum, an LNG contract (Liquefied Natural Gas), and the participants were PETRONAS, BG and the Egyptian Government generating USD2billions in revenues to the sellers.
I have also successfully managed to propose a new business model for the company in Egypt to overcome the gas shortage that is affecting our LNG exports. I have also managed to propose a new scheme to overcome USD crisis in Egypt through converting local currency into USD to smoothly run the business.
