- Job Details:Key Responsibilities • Analyze and monitor the current global markets and prepare a business plan (every 6 months) to identify and develop new sales opportunities for the export of domestic and commercial products and to establish and create sustainable growth in chosen global markets. • Directs service provision execution of exports against standards/metrics. • Ensures that all export documentation is correct and submitted on time. • Ensures smooth customs clearance by staying on top of customs regulations. • Ensure adherence to country specific importation legislation. • Oversees the creation of shipping files, preparation of export cargo shipping instructions, export invoices, packing lists, bills of exchange, certificates of origin, certificates of conformity, EUR/ATR documents, weight lists, covering bank letters. • Liaises with maritime companies to obtain freight quotes and select carriers, freight forwarders, liaise with banks, insurers, inspection agencies, book freight, present documentation to banks and resolve discrepancies. • Interprets service level agreements and contracts with clients and vendors. • Account manages all key clients to include, monitoring/chasing account payments, customer care calls, updating cost savings logs and making telesales calls to clients. • Attain new business by contacting new international clients regarding export services, attending international fairs and consultation meetings. • Develop strong relationships within supply chain to explore existing supplier and distributor base and possible commercial sales relationships. • Managing formal and informal agreements, contracts negotiations and deals process completion with local and international customers. • Managing staff, ensuring they remain motivated and are meeting key objectives. • Reporting on performance on a regular basis to ensure the best possible service is maintained. • Manage new staff recruitment and orientation. • Budgeting, planning and sales forecasts. • Preparing professional sales reports and presentations for internal and external presentation as specified. • Maintain optimum level of customer satisfaction and work with the quality control team to meet customer expectations. • Dealing with any escalated issues
