Superintendent Operations Technology & Automation

• Job Details:Spearheaded sustainable production enhancements and championed the sustainable transition program (STP) at Ok Tedi Mining Limited (OTML) as the operations business units OIA superintendent. Drove operational efficiency by identifying improvement opportunities, recommending initiatives, and establishing critical tools and standards. Led a team of PCS specialists and engineers to execute weekly maintenance tasks, ensuring optimal control system functionality and metallurgical compliance. Fostered collaborative efforts with offsite engineering support, Mipac, and Cyber-CX to advance the OT network upgrade and 800XA controls implementation, aligned with the automation road map and OIA charter. Managed PAR projects and site-wide control upgrades, upholding high engineering standards and ensuring timely delivery with active OIA team involvement for knowledge transfer. Orchestrated the integration of operations and reliability databases under the OIA charter, centralizing quality data acquisition in accordance with the Ok Tedi Way journey. Acted as a catalyst for technical innovation, operational efficiency, and talent development within the operations business units OIA, setting a precedent for successful PAR STP delivery models across OTML.

Process Control Technician

• Job Details:Responsible for site wide process control support to the Ok Tedi Mining Limited operation sites. Frontline PLC/DCS, electrical & instrumentation low voltage troubleshooting. Attending to plant breakdowns and callouts regarding DCS/PLC. Involvement in plant optimization/improvement projects. Carrying out fiber splicing. PID tuning & loop optimization.
