ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1- Data verification of new pre sales activity systems.
2- Gathering users needs and special required reports
3- Tracking business concept changes.
4- Cooperating in preventing data inconsistency or solving problems appears according to such inconsistency.
5- Report any complain/problem on active system(s)
6- Facilitate day-to-day flow of sales force data activities and assist in the orientation of sales force new comers to the available systems.
7- Ensure having a credible, reliable, and 'clean' database.
8- Coordinate with group information services in Egypt.
9- Ensuring completeness, validity, consistency, and accuracy of data entered by the related users.
10- Completing any missing or inaccurate data and removing corrupt or inaccurate records.
11- Data standardization. Ensuring that data conforms to quality rules.
12- Follow up for the sales team concerning any business issues.
13- Eliminating any hardships encountered by the sales team and providing speedy assistance.
14- Controlling the customers ‘ assignment according to the salesman geographical coverage area
15- Eliminating any duplicates in customers or any related data that may directly or indirectly affects the data bases
16- Issuance of salesmen codes according to the salesman geographical coverage area.
17- Monitoring - keeping track of data quality over time and reporting variations in the quality of data
18- Handling population entrance and defining new models on the system.
19- Mastering, controlling & issuance of the KPI (Key Performance Indicator) results to all KPI owners assigned to the KPI bonus System.
20- Revising the financial indicators figures & the parameters of measurements for the Non Financial Indicators.
21- Follow up any delay in meeting the KPI measurement rules.
22- Defining any newly non financial indicators.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE
I. DATA QUALITY IMPROVEMENT:
23- Be in Charge of the systems’ master tables (for industries, segments, models, Etc.). Make sure it is unified, consistent, updated, and easily maintained.
24- Create and maintain the necessary validation mechanism to guarantee continuous control of the quality of the data entry to prevent any errors, inconsistency and/or duplication.
25- Investigate data quality problems and take charge of its resolution through the concerned users. Suggest and take charge of data updating projects in coordination with the different departments.
II. DATA QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
26- Validate and authorize new customer code as well as new Master Tables’ codes (models, industries, etc.). A specific process to be designed and agreed upon with concerned department heads.
27- Data cleansing and transformation projects
28- Call new customers (or search by other means) to check their data.
III. REPORTING:
29- Learn new query tools to produce reports that satisfy the ad-hoc needs of different management levels in the group.
30- Aggregate and/or break up the available reports’ information to fit new needs.
31- Prepare necessary historical data of measures and indicators for group presentations and Cat requirements.
32- Test new systems’ reports to ensure it produces the right accurate information.
33- Revise the DBS and Manpro reports to prevent any duplication.
34- Check the data transformation from the operational systems to the OLAP database to ensure its consistency.
IV. BUSINESS DATA ANALYSIS:
35- Setting data life cycle and business rules to guide the programmers on the related development requirements.
36- Review and suggest improvement to the current data collection and storage processes and, establish the procedures that users have to follow to maintain the data quality at the highest level.
37- Reviewing the current status of the customer information and master tables areas before building the related systems and define the needs for data validations and consistency.
38- Test the new data related programs/versions to ensure its accuracy.
39- Investigate external data sources, such as economical, competitive etc., that can be of value to incorporate to our systems.









V. TRAINING & DOCUMENTATION
40- Prepare user guide for Marketing Information Systems for all levels (Managers, Supervisors, Salesmen & Data Quality team).
41- Create on line help for OLAP systems
42- Regular comprehensive training for newcomers & promoted supervisors.
43- Periodical notes & reminders to explain any new features or to unify concepts while fixing any problems or raised issues through the help desk.
