• Job Details:• Supporting the M&E manager and the project management in developing theory of change, logical frameworks and performance measurement plans for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities. This includes defining and formulating the key project performance indicators (KPIs), assumptions and risks. • Conducting baseline and needs assessment study for identification of basic needs using participatory tools aims at involving the target groups/beneficiaries and other stakeholders. • Designing, applying and analyzing a set of quantitative (surveys, questionnaires and pre and post-tests) and qualitative tools (FGDs, interviews and field observations) for assessing the actual performance of the project against the target values and the different expected results of the project (outputs, outcomes and impacts). • Conducting regular monitoring visits for the different project activities and providing the M&E manager with relevant monitoring reports identifying the progress towards the expected results as well as the lessons learned. • Preparing quarterly reports on project progress based on MIS reports on project activities as required by donors. • Participating in program and project evaluation according to specified evaluation criteria (relevance, effectiveness, impact and sustainability) using a variety of evaluation approaches (mainly Participatory Evaluation Approach and the Most Significant Change Approach). • Conducting research for improving work plans, strategies and M&E tools.
