• Job Details: Have strong relations in all ports , governmental institutions (Ministry of Agriculture - Ministry of interior – Customs ,….etc), all shipping agencies , Transport companies ,loading and unloading vessels (charter vessel ) , stevedoring companies to finish all export and import procedures . Manages and plans for logistics policies, objectives and initiative. Creates procedures for logistics management to optimize inbound and outbound shipping, logistics services. Has responsibility for vendor selection and negotiation, transportation, scheduling ,quality of service ,cost and transportation security . Ensure service and cost objectives are met Manages subordinate staff in the day –to- day performance of their jobs . Recruits ,selects ,orients and trains employees Maintain staff job results by coaching ,counseling ,and disciplining employees while planning, monitoring and appraising job performance . Interact with customers to ensure service levels and satisfaction remains high. Manage local logistics including drivers and vehicles. Produces regular reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis. Motivating ,organizing ,scheduling and encouraging teamwork within the workplace to ensure productivity target are met or exceeded Answer customer emails/questions in a professional ,courteous and respectful manner Communicate effectively with team members and management to accomplish assigned tasks Maintain proper dress code and personal hygiene as listed in company guidelines. Ensure receiving of original documents such as commercial invoice, BLs , etc Responsible for all duty customs sales and tax functions and all related subject Liaises with custom brokers for update reporting procedures and valuations Daily follow up transportation and forwarding services for all orders to ensure material is delivered as per schedule Expedites all critical orders with local subcontract vendors Reviews expediting schedules on all orders Reviews freight rate air , courier , land and maritime transport Validate payments , bi – weekly reports , work closely with logistics service provider to ensure the proper implementation of logistics activities Report to senior procurement Dealing with banks in transfers and bank LC for benefits Strong Customer Relation, Management skills. Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
