    • Job Details:Conducting in-depth analysis of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, and compressors with emphasis on their operational principles, design parameters, and recurring maintenance issues such as wear, corrosion, fouling, and mechanical failure. Developing a comprehensive understanding of valves, flanges, fittings, supports, and expansion joints, emphasizing their functional roles, classifications, and typical failure modes addressed through preventive and corrective maintenance strategies. Delivering well-structured reports on equipment damage, repair methods, and system modifications, supporting upper management with clear documentation and technical insights. Collaborating in team-based planning and problem-solving sessions to identify the root cause of corrosion-related issues, including weld cracking, pinholes, and pitting, through structured meetings and technical analysis. Performing stress analysis for piping and pressure vessels, including primary and secondary membrane stresses for vessels, and primary stress calculations for pipes based on ASME Sec.VIII Div.1. Also pipe sizing based on ASME B31.3 including affecting factors. Reviewing metallurgical conditions and degradation mechanisms to support preventive maintenance and enhance system longevity. Reading and analyzing process flow diagrams (PFDs) for basic understanding of process, piping isometric drawings for the plant equipment and lines layout for field connections, also reading the detailed unit diagram the piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) including the lines of equipment, pipe, flange and valve, and the instrumentation legends. Studying the design and operation of vertical & horizontal pumps. Maintain reliability records and reviewing the impact of varying pressure, material specifications, and temperature conditions on valves, flanges, and gaskets to identify potential failure mechanisms.
