HSE Engineer

Day-To-Day Operations

• Supervises the day-to-day operations of H&S to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures
• Supports the HSE team in the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Oilex Health and Safety programs, ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations of local authority
• Ensure the proper reporting, investigation, and closure of safety incidents; apply incident investigation procedures or ensure that incident investigation procedures are applied which include: disposition of safety incidents; monitoring of incident investigation procedures including analysis, evaluation, and corrective action.
• Participate in risk assessments and conduct consequence analysis to verify the severity of process safety hazards
• All observations, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and near misses’ reports are reviewed and analyzed with corrective action and close follow-up till completed.

• Conduct safety awareness training for all contractor’s employees with complete follow-up to ensure they are obeying all plant safety regulations and instructions
• Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude
