Job Description
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for fire protection and firefighting systems.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure compliance with NFPA and other applicable codes.
- Review and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration of fire protection systems.
- Participate in design reviews, inspections, and commissioning activities.
- Utilize AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk Recap, and laser scan data for piping design.
- Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related challenges
Job Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
* 4–6 years of experience in fire protection engineering within oil & gas or industrial construction projects
* Strong knowledge of NFPA and other relevant codes
* Proficient in hydraulic calculation tools and fire protection system design
* Familiarity with commissioning processes and inspection protocols
* Effective coordination and communication skills
* Skilled in AutoCAD Plant 3D, Autodesk Recap, and laser scan data for piping design.
