Job Description
- Oversee and manage all aspects of fitout projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality outcomes.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure compliance with design intent and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project reports, schedules, and documentation for internal and client review.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Liaise with clients to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all fitout works comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Support the handover process, ensuring all deliverables meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 3 to 7 years of proven experience in fitout engineering or interior construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of fitout processes, materials, and industry best practices.
- Owning a private car is required to ensure mobility between project sites.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Willingness to work onsite and adapt to dynamic project environments.
