Job Description
- Oversee the maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems in our banking facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of MEP systems to identify issues, ensure compliance with regulations, and maintain optimal performance.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance schedules, reactive maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely resolution of MEP-related issues and minimize downtime.
- Monitor energy consumption, identify energy-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize energy efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of MEP systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to MEP systems in the banking sector.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and facilities staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on construction and renovation projects to ensure MEP systems are designed and implemented effectively.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in MEP facility engineering, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire protection, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Familiarity with local and international codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP systems.
- Proven experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot MEP system issues.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as computer-aided design (CAD) and facilities management systems.
