Job Description
Patient Onboarding & Support
Enroll patients into support programs.
Explain program benefits, services, and eligibility requirements.
Assist with completing necessary documentation (insurance, financial assistance, etc.).
Liaison & Communication
Act as the main point of contact between patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams.
Communicate treatment plans, medication shipment updates, and status changes.
Access & Reimbursement Assistance
Help patients navigate insurance coverage, prior authorizations, and appeals.
Coordinate benefits investigation and copay assistance programs.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Ensure compliance with privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and company policies.
Program Coordination
Work with cross-functional teams (sales, medical affairs, case managers).
Monitor patient progress and follow up to ensure continuity of care.
Job Requirements
- Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
- Familiarity with our industry is a plus
- Experience using help desk software and remote support tools
- Understanding of how CRM systems work
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Patience when handling tough cases
- bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, science, or veterinary medicine
