Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Purchasing Manager to oversee and optimize our procurement processes across multiple branches. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and cost-effective procurement in the automotive repair industry.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-efficient acquisition of automotive parts, equipment, and supplies.

Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.

Cost Control: Analyze pricing trends, negotiate favorable terms, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on product quality.

Inventory Management: Collaborate with branch managers to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimizing excess stock and reducing holding costs.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that all purchased products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Budget Oversight: Develop and manage departmental budgets, providing regular reports on spending and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and logistics, to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPP, or CPM) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
