Purpose/Introduction:
Our Project is currently seeking a DCS Specialist – Polyethylene Plant to join the Ras Laffan Industrial City (RLIC), Qatar. The DCS Specialist is responsible for working with the EPC project team and actively supporting the development and review of the detail designs and procurement related to process controls, control systems, and instrumented systems while focusing more on control systems. This position will also be supporting the project team during construction, commissioning and start up phases of the project.

This position will also be supporting the project team during construction, commissioning and start up phases of the project.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 15+ years’ experience in chemical processing or refinery experience
- Previous HAZOP/LOPA experience
- ‘Grass roots” major capital project experience.
- Experience working with an EPC contractor(s)
- New asset commissioning experience
- Experience in Polyolefin Unit design, engineering, and operation
