Job Description
- Supporting old running web services
- Refactor current running web Java services to Spring boot web services.
- Prepare documentation including detailed diagrams outlining systems capabilities and processes.
- Perform third party integrations with other third-parties.
- Maintain, support already running API’s.
- Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new technologies and better assist other team members.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Java and experience with the Spring Framework [Spring Boot, Spring Boot Hibernate/JPA, Spring Boot REST API, Spring Boot Data JPA, Spring Boot Security, etc.]
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of database management systems, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with cloud services and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
