Job Description

  • Prepare Technical & Commercial proposals For Fit out works, MEP Projects as well the facility management services.
  • Lead a team of MEP and Facility management Tendering employees.
  • Reviews and finalizes project cost estimates as prepared by the Estimation Engineer in terms of the required material as per bill of quantities (BOQ), amount of work, material/ equipment/ and manpower requirements during the tendering phase; this includes all systems, products and services to client specifications/ requirements.
  • Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities. 
  • Attend clarification meetings with Client when required.
  • Take responsibility for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order.
  • Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines 
  • Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements.
  • Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
  • Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
  • Mainly experienced in the Fit out works and Renovation Projects Tendering.
  • Finalizes estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidates tender documents for management review and approval.
  • Advises Planning Engineers on project activities as per BOQ as needed.
  • Generates weekly tender status reports highlighting progress on concerned tenders.

Job Requirements

  • Mainly experienced in the Fit out works and Renovation Projects Tendering.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in the Constructions field, and minimum of 5 years in Tendering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Architect)
  • Communication & organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good grammar and technical report writing skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Experience of dealing with complex tenders.
  • Experience of contract negotiation in a commercial environment.
  • General MS Office Program skills.
  • Working Days: 6 days
